New York, US, 6th June 2024, ZEX PR WIRE, Somnia, a high performance L1 blockchain and set of omni-chain protocols designed to scale the metaverse, had a breakout week at Consensus 2024. From the moment conference attendees landed in Austin, Texas, Somnia captured their attention with advertisements throughout the airport and a mobile billboard circulating around town.

Somnia also had a very popular booth in a high-traffic area of the conference, gathering large crowds with their popcorn machine and interactive exhibits, which included a real-life avatar that was signed or “remixed” by hundreds of people throughout the week. This was a physical representation of how creators are able to collaborate and remix content across experiences with Somnia’s metaverse-connecting protocols.

Somnia’s merchandise, including t-shirts, custom socks and shiny bags, proved to be among the most popular at the conference.

Beyond the main event, Somnia hosted a series of side events each day. Highlights included the “To Da Moon” event with Bitmart, a mixer with OKX, and coffee and brunch gatherings with Halborn and Certik. Multiple panels and another edition of “Uniting Societies” hosted by the team were also well-received, with the latter nearly reaching full capacity with over 300 attendees.

Looking ahead, Somnia Network is set to attend EthCC in Belgium this summer. Plans for side events are already underway, and Somnia invites projects interested in collaboration to reach out.
